Dr. Max Suchanek
I grew up back in the 90s during the digital revolution being fascinated by everything related to computers. Becoming more and more interested in music production, I founded Second Suspense with a friend of mine.
Collaborating with the global music publishers ROBA PM and Warner Chappell Music and becoming a GEMA member led me to MS Excel and VBA.
By the end of my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at University of Trier, I was a working student at Commerzbank Luxembourg in the Wealth Management division. During my Masters, I got hired by M. M. Warburg, thanks to the network of colleagues i’ve established in the meantime. During my studies, the Swiss Private Bank Julius Bär acquired Commerzbank Luxembourg, and I moved for the Graduate Program to their headquarter in Switzerland.
In this graduate program, I worked almost a year on a project with Siam Commercial Bank, setting up an Joint venture with Julius Bär in Thailand and Singapore.
In Asia, I decided to enhance my academic capabilities by entering into a PhD program focused on Behavioral Finance with the University of Paderborn and later the University of Duisburg. 5 years later, in 2024 i finished with Cum Laude.
In parallel, I took on the position as Deputy Head Process Services, following my passion for technology.
Today, I work as inhouse consultant for the product division of the bank. My work focuses on strategic topics like central clearing for US treasuries and improving the offering for Alternative Investments.
